Fanless / passive cooling
Powerful, fanless embedded PC systems
Passively cooled embedded PCs are used in various applications in the industrial environment where high computing power and robustness are required. The InoNet Concepion® embedded PCs withstand harsh and dusty environments near machines thanks to high IP protection. InoNet’s proprietary cooling concept with cooling fins eliminates the need for a fan, reducing maintenance intensity (no filter changes, no rotating parts).
Active cooling
Active cooled high-performance PCs
InoNet’s actively cooled high-performance systems have a high server performance. This is particularly suitable for demanding applications in industrial environments, such as complex automation tasks and AI applications. The active cooling solution with fans developed by InoNet enables the production of embedded high-performance computers with powerful processors up to Dual-XEON®-CPUs and high-performance graphics cards.
Operating systems Embedded PC
An embedded operating system is specifically designed for use in embedded computers and is used as an integral part of a corresponding machine. Embedded operating systems have to manage limited hardware resources and sometimes have to meet specific requirements in terms of real-time capability, security or access rights. Examples are Windows® Embedded, Linux® Embedded and VxWorks®. On request, we can also equip your embedded PC with an embedded operating system.

What is an embedded computer?
An embedded PC is a compact industrial computer that can be integrated into a larger system. However, it is an independent, reliable PC in itself and the brain of numerous applications. Embedded PCs are basic building blocks of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), as they enable communication and connectivity between machines, people and things. Embedded PCs handle both the acquisition and processing of data streams and the control of machines. Embedded computers with their small form factor are known by a wide variety of names. This also includes Box PC and Gateway, among others. Depending on the area of application, different form factors and characteristics of embedded PCs are used. What are the mounting options for embedded PCs?
Embedded PCs can be used as stand-alone/desktop or integrated into machines. In order to use embedded PCs in as many different ways as possible, various mounting options are also possible:
Wallmount Embedded PC
If a computer is attached via wallmount mounting, metal plates with pre-drilled holes are first attached to the device. This allows the embedded industrial computer to be attached to walls or other flat surfaces.
Rackmount Embedded PC
The embedded PC is permanently installed in a server or network cabinet via rackmount mounting. For this purpose, mounting brackets are attached to the devices, allowing them to be installed in the racks. This makes assembly very simple and promises stability and support.
Embedded PC DIN rail
With mounting on DIN rails, embedded PCs can be used particularly flexibly. A special hole makes it very easy to attach the adapter for the DIN rail and you can mount the device at the desired location on the DIN rail.

Which interfaces does an embedded PC system have?
We place great importance on being able to offer embedded PCs with the widest possible selection of interfaces for your suitable application. Models from the Professional and High-End lines can therefore be flexibly modified to meet your requirements. USB ports, Gigabit LAN ports as well as HDMI, Display Port and COM interfaces are installed as standard. We can offer further interfaces on request, depending on the system.
