Computer for HiL Testing in ADAS Development
InoNet launches HiL computer for simulations in vehicle development. Conventional ADAS development, based on extensive data acquisition in the vehicle, is both costly and time-consuming. As vehicle development becomes more complex, these methods are reaching their limits. Moving to a HiL strategy enables realistic simulation in a controlled environment. HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) is a testing method that integrates real hardware components into a simulated environment to test their behaviour under realistic conditions. This approach leads to significant time and cost savings while increasing the efficiency and accuracy of ADAS development. InoNet supports this change with customised HiL computers. The InoHiL platforms offer special advantages. They are individually configurable and scalable in terms of performance and communication interfaces (GPU, CAN-FD, LIN FlexRay) and can thus be adapted to the requirements of the respective application. The systems are compatible with real-time operating systems and existing software, allowing easy integration into existing test environments. This means that test data can be quickly uploaded, tagged and processed. In addition, an experienced engineering team is available to provide support throughout the development process. The InoHiL product line ranges from the configurable entry-level system InoHiL®-II to the more powerful computer InoHiL®-II-Q with QuickTray-v3 for encrypted data processing and the high-performance computer InoHiL®-B17QW. With server CPUs, liquid cooling and multi-GPU performance, the latter is ideal for intensive signal processing and complex modelling calculations. With seven PCIe x16 slots, it also offers a high degree of flexibility for different applications.
